Launching your podcast online doesn’t have to be Launching your podcast online doesn’t have to be scary…Tiffany is one of my clients who had a great idea for a new podcast (@letsgotiff4tat) on mental wellness from a community-centered focus and fresh perspective. She wanted to launch all of her episodes in her seasons at one time to create an opportunity for her audience to bing her content and maximize their growth. She was so successful that she took what she thought was only going to be a personal passion project and turned it into something much more impactful for her community. She began holding healing spaces at a local community spot in person pre-pandemic on a regular basis and continues to do the work from her most authentic space. She can show up unapologetically because she launched her podcast, scratch that… her DREAMS… with a WordPress website. This matters because now she OWNS her success. The sky is the limit and the glass ceiling has been broken. Keep climbing and thank you for being a loyal customer!👀 Looking to launch your podcast? You can work with me and launch your podcast on WordPress in a weekend!👋🏾 Smack the link in my bio to apply.
I bet you’re wondering what the heck an “Ident I bet you’re wondering what the heck an “Identity-Aligned Launch” is…Follow @helloambi 👈🏾Well, I’ve spent some time in previous posts talking to you about identity, mainly race and gender. Everyone has both social and personal identities.Your personal identity is the concept you develop about yourself that evolves over the course of your life. These are things like your favorite color, favorite music, values and interests that you hold. ❤️🎧🎨Your social identity is your sense of who you are based on your group membership. That includes things like your race, gender, social economic status, faith, etc. 🇿🇦🏳️‍⚧️⛪️I believe it is important to consider all of who you are when preparing to launch your next big idea. Your identities make you unique and they are the lens in which you see and experience the world. Your identity inspires the 3 components you’ll need for a successful launch and so these three components must me aligned with the core of who you are as a person. Being a Black woman 👩🏾‍💼 in the workplace means you’ve no doubt had to navigate bias. Those experiences have helped you learn what you don’t want for yourself in the business you own and operate. So use that knowledge to develop a healthy mindset, put systems in place that feel good to you and work through strategies that allow you to be your most authentic self.If an Identity-Aligned Launch resonates with who you are and how you want to present your brand and ideas to the world, click the link in my bio to work with me. 🚀
[Truth Moment] You shouldn’t address every racia [Truth Moment] You shouldn’t address every racial aggression.Follow @helloambi 👈🏾Not every racial aggression from every person is worthy of your response or energy. Here’s what you should consider next time you experience a racially motivated incident:There’s dealing with difficult people who have unchecked bias and then there’s dealing with people who are racist. You have to assess the level of threat by the power and systems they hold over you in order to determine the tools you’ll use for liberation.👇🏾Comment below if you’ve ever let a micro-aggressions or micro-insult slide because it wasn’t worth your peace of mind, time and energy that day but it’s happened enough times to make you want to quit your job.
